About Melinda

Melinda Morgan has been a language arts and science
teacher since 1998. She attended Brigham Young University following high
school, and then took a break from formal education to raise her four
children. She received her Master’s Degree in Education and
Administration from Azusa Pacific University in 2006, and her Bachelor
of Arts degree from California Baptist University in 1998. In 2005, she
was named a California League of Middle Schools Teacher of the Year.
Presently, she serves as the district liaison and staff developer for
the California K-12 Alliance for science. She is active in her church,
where she currently serves as the president of the Relief Society, a
service organization for women. In her spare time, Melinda enjoys
playing the piano, reading, and taking long, leisurely walks.
